Terms of Service

Last updated: May 23, 2026

01Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Firepanel (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02Description of service

Firepanel is an admin panel for Firebase projects. It helps you browse and manage data in Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Storage through a single interface, using credentials you provide.

03Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite, and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law.
  • Abuse, harass, or attempt to harm other users or our infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where this is expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Service as your own offering without a written agreement with us.
  • Use the Service to access Firebase projects you do not have authorisation to access.

05Your Firebase data

You retain all rights to the data in the Firebase projects you connect to Firepanel. By connecting a project, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access that data solely to provide the Service to you — for example, reading a document when you open it, or writing one when you edit it. We do not permanently store your Firebase data on our servers.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect every Firebase project you connect, and for complying with the terms of Firebase and Google Cloud as they apply to your use.

06Service-account credentials

You are responsible for the service-account credentials you provide to Firepanel and for the permissions granted to those service accounts. We recommend granting only the IAM roles needed for the features you intend to use. You can revoke a service account in the Firebase or Google Cloud Console at any time; Firepanel will lose access immediately when you do.

07Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period except as set out in our Refund Policy.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the failure is resolved. Repeated non-payment may result in downgrade or termination.

08Intellectual property

Firepanel, its codebase, branding, and the Service itself belong to Scale. Your data, including the contents of your connected Firebase projects, belongs to you. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your data to us, or of the Service to you.

09Service availability

Firepanel is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We’re in private beta. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves; where a change is material we will try to give you reasonable notice.

10Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scale is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your account creates risk for us or other users, or if we cease to offer the Service. On termination, your connected-project credentials are deleted and your access ends; we will, where reasonable, give you an opportunity to export your account data first.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the operator's registered location in India.

13Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or inside the product. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
